Main Purpose of the Position
To maintain radio communication with road staff, prepare schedules, and keep an accurate daily log of all events, road operations, and client interactions.

Key Performance Areas

Duties

• Maintain radio and tele communication with vehicles to ensure their location and activities are known at all times.
• Ensure that all crews use the appropriate codes in radio transmissions.
• Confirm that emergency procedures are understood by vehicles and that correct protocols are followed.
• Maintain and accurately record a detailed daily log of all vehicle and third-party movements, including blind radio spot notations, no-service receipt numbers, standby situations, operational reminders, missed schedules, and unscheduled work.
