Job Summary:

Delivers radiation therapy. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range in assigned clinical area.

Job Duties:

Explains procedures and answers patient questions. Schedules treatments in oncology information management system and gives a copy of the schedule to the patient.

Positions patient for treatment reproducing simulation setup, obtains required imaging and accurately delivers treatment. Is competent in routine and complex studies. Maintains accessory medical equipment such as IVs and oxygen.
