Radiation Protection Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a radiation protection engineer for the Loviisa nuclear power plant's radiation safety team. The position is permanent and based in Loviisa, Finland.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize radiation protection activities.
• Prepare and coordinate emergency preparedness and response measures.
• Develop and maintain radiation safety documentation.
• Support the development of radiation safety and protection policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education degree in nuclear, radiochemistry, energy technology or natural sciences.
• Experience in radiation safety and a nuclear environment.
• Qualification as a radiation safety expert (section 36 of the Radiation Act) in nuclear energy or radiation operations.
• Basic IT skills.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.
