Job Description
Responsibilities:
Exercise and implement sourcing strategies
Ensure all information is sufficient before sending any RFQ to suppliers
Review the quote in costed BOM before submission.
Provide competitive cost for the new RFQ from Business Team
Make sure on time quote submission to Business Team
Monitor & track RFQ progress and closure
Resolve price discrepancy for supplier contract price
Drive continuous improvement and systematic approach to the quote process
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Mechanical parts
Demonstrate expertise in negotiation, implementation and maintenance of supplier contracts
Effective interpersonal skills, both internally and externally
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an EMS or Manufacturing environment
