Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations based on customer drawings, specifications, and quantities.
  • Estimate machining costs for Auto Lathe, CNC Milling, and Turning processes (material, machine time, tooling, secondary processes).
  • Discuss machining methods and feasibility directly with production supervisors or machinists.
  • Source and compare raw material and subcontracting prices (e.g., plating, heat treatment).
  • Revise quotations based on customer feedback, design changes, or quantity updates.
  • Maintain quotation records, costing sheets, and drawing files in an organized manner.
  • Follow up on quotations and support sales or management in securing orders.
  • Assist in cost review and basic price updates for repeat parts.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks related to costing, documentation, or operations as required.
