Quantity Surveyor

Job Purpose: Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based in Newry. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all commercial aspects of MGME projects, including cost control, budget management, and subcontractor management. Collaborate with project teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects. Identify and mitigate commercial risks while maximising project profitability. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Liaise with internal aftercare team to facilitate the subcontract requirement to cover the defects liability period through to payment of the final retention release. Monitor project financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management. Assist with monthly Cost and Margin Reporting reviewing current cost against original budget.
