Quantity Surveyor

Duties & Responsibilities

• Visit the site location to get first-hand experience, perform site measurements and identify discrepancies between the plan/drawing and actual site measurements.
• Clarify any possible discrepancies or misunderstandings and ensure that our tender/quotations will be according to the client's requirements.
• Breakdown BQ according to trades/contractors/suppliers.
• Brief our contractors and suppliers to ensure they understand the requirements and site conditions.
• Contribute to work planning, and brief contract and project teams, contractors and suppliers.
• Perform cost analysis and compare with multiple quotations (minimum of 3).
• Perform value engineering and provide alternatives in the form of construction methods and/or different choices of materials without compromising the design.
