Responsibilities
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ), quotations, and contract documents
- Attend site valuations and prepare progress claims
- Evaluate and submit progress claims, Variation Orders (VO), and final accounts
- Follow up with customers on payment certificates
- Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings
- Print and manage construction drawings
- Calculate construction costs for tendering projects based on technical drawings and documents
- Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
- Handle basic contract administration including correspondence and filing
- Manage project claims documentation and administration
- Prepare and submit material submissions
- Perform other QS duties as required
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in QS role
