Job Description
1. Costing, BQ & Pre-Contract Management
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ)
Assist in taking-off quantities from construction and interior drawings (e.g., AutoCAD) to determine site measurement requirements.
Support Sales Designers by providing pricing clarity, value engineering solutions, and feasibility checks to ensure quotations remain highly competitive while achieving targeted profit margins.
Prepare and deliver professional quotations and tender evaluation reports to clients.
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
Source, request, and analyze quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers.
Prepare detailed cost comparison summaries and evaluate material pricing to ensure they are within budget and meet quality standards.
Negotiate effectively with sub-contractors and suppliers, and manage the preparation of the Letter of Award (LOA) and subcontractor contracts.
