Key Responsibilities
Tendering and Estimation: Reviewing architectural/structural drawings and specifications to prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive precast BOQs, including concrete volume, reinforcement steel, and casting requirements.
Cost Control and Management: Monitoring project budgets, identifying cost variances, and implementing cost-saving measures throughout the production and erection phases.
Contractual Administration: Managing contract agreements, preparing subcontractor payments, and handling claims or variations (VOs) related to design changes or extra work.
Production Coordination: Liaising with the design and production teams to ensure that quantities align with casting schedules and material requirements.
Sourcing and Negotiation: Obtaining quotations for materials (cement, steel) and specialized items like molds, and negotiating with suppliers to optimize project costs.
