As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be the backbone of our project finances, responsible for accurately measuring and costing all aspects of a construction project. You will play a crucial role from the initial design phase through to completion, ensuring all documentation and estimates are precise and aligned with industry standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Quantity Takeoffs (QTO): Accurately measure and quantify materials, labor, and costs from 2D architectural/structural drawings (e.g., floor plans, reinforced concrete, structural steelwork, utilities, and M&E).
Utilize both manual methods (scale rulers, area calculations) and digital tools (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift, Revit, etc.).
Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation:Organize takeoff data into a structured BOQ following industry standards (e.g., NRM, SMM7, CESMM).
Classify items (e.g., Earthworks, Structural, Finishes, Services) with precise descriptions, units, quantities, and rates.
