Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities Manage tendering processes and evaluate contractor bids Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variation orders Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Requirements BSc Quantity Surveying degree (essential) Consultancy experience (essential) Minimum 35 years' experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JBCC, NEC, FIDIC) Proficiency in measurement software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft) and MS Excel Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., SACQSP) advantageous Valid driver's license Location: Plattekloof, Cape Town
