Job Description
Drive quality standards at Aecon as a Quality Inspector focused on concrete foundations for the Fort Saskatchewan DOW Path2Zero TR4 project. Perform critical inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
This contract position reports to the Quality Manager and requires 4×10 hour days along with one 8-hour day weekly. You will be engaged in pre-pour rebar inspections, monitor concrete curing processes, and coordinate with testing agencies to maintain quality control standards. Your ability to work independently and communicate effectively will be key to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site inspections per project specifications
• Conduct pre-pour inspections for rebar and anchor bolts
• Oversee and ensure quality during concrete placement
• Monitor curing under various weather conditions
• Document non-conformance reports and action requests
