Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Akron, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire a Quality Inspector who is familiar with familiar with quality of weldments and use of calipers and height gages.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level educationMust be familiar with welding inspection quality & weld etchingsInterpret blue prints / drawings for proper welding codes and specificationsFamiliar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) used to monitor and improve manufacturing processes by measuring performance in real-time, analyzing data (variables or attributes) on control charts, to reduce waste & rework.Experienced with gage layouts and gage calibrations to define the accuracy, reliability, and precision of a measuring instrument
