Quality Engineer

Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment. Assesses projects to analyze risks and costs and makes recommendations. Analyzes reports and returned products, and recommends corrective action. Prepares documentation for inspection/testing procedures. May develop tools, methods, and systems to ensure continuous performance improvements. May focus on supplier and supply chain quality.


CAREER LEVEL:
Works under limited supervision on assignments that require a comprehensive knowledge of the discipline. May be responsible for a business activity, or lead small projects, assume several components of a larger project or program, or complex portion of a lar...
