Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative)
Required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Kariega, Eastern Cape . Requirements:
National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3-5 years’ relevant experience in the automotive industry within Production/ Product Engineering / Quality environment
Knowledge of vehicle functions (Body, powertrain, chassis, electrical)
Ability to process and analyse complex data
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Ability to communicate and present at all levels within the organisation
Self-starter with the ability to work independently Responsibilities:
Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety to implement actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures using the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt).
