The Quality Engineer provides essential quality support and leadership for all new and existing products and processes within the plant. This role involves working closely with internal teams to uphold high quality standards by designing inspection procedures, developing control plans, completing root cause analysis, and managing the PPAP process. The Quality Engineer also maintains relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring their inquiries and requirements are addressed promptly.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage essential QMS documents, Process Control Plans, Work Instructions, Inspection Plan, Gauge Instructions, GR&R plan, etc.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of new and existing programs through the APQP process.
+ Support product launches, engineering changes, and/or improvement changes, ensuring Quality systems are updated to compliance.
