Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
Assurance of quality system implementation in production.
Provide guidance to manufacturing regarding quality issues.
Identify and analyze quality problems and suggest corrective actions.
Involve with customers regarding complaints and services.
Manage Continual Improvement process (Projects and team meetings).
Take part in internal audits.
Write SWRs/TECOs as necessary.
Provide support to production as/when necessary.
Provide backup for CofC's (Certificate of Conformance) as necessary (40%).
Control Internal Specifications and generate Specification Reviews as necessary, update internal system (WiP.mdb), and maintain documentation.
Provide visual inspection training and certification for inspectors.
Manage the Discrepant Work Reports system (Disposition and retention of DWRs).
