Quality Engineer
Salary is up to £39,500 per annum - based in Gillingham, Kent. Days role working Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri) - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Onsite parking, employee welfare scheme. Permanent position.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a successful and well established engineering company based at their Gillingham site in Kent. Reporting to the Factory Manager this is a new role within their organisation - this is a stand alone role but will involve working with Inspectors and other shop floor staff. Whilst you will not be directly managing staff or a team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the quality fuction and be working in a hands on capacity.
Duties of the Quality Engineer will involve:
Developing and maintaining quality procedures
Driving continuous improvement strategies
Conducting audits to ensure compliance
Goods-In inspection
