What to expect:

Martin Marietta is seeking a QC Technician to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently sampling and performing routine laboratory testing of aggregate material under the supervision of the Site Manager or other designated personnel. The QC Technician will ensure that all products are consistent with prescribed standards and specifications. This position requires travel from the quarry to other locations.

A typical day for a(n) QC Technician may include:

* Using prescribed standards to determine chemical and/or physical characteristics for quality control purposes and to determine conformity to specifications

* Setting up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instrumentations such as agitators, scales, ovens, and other lab equipment as required
