Quality Control Technician II

Reviews specifications, class rules, work instructions and SOPs to determine trade specific quality requirements for each contract.

Develops new construction and repair projects’ Inspection and Test Plans for trade specific systems. Ensures plans are implemented in accordance with contract requirements.

Performs daily in-process quality inspections of trade specific work. Documents and communicates results to responsible supervisors.

Perform accuracy control activities for new construction and repair projects at Seaspan Shipyards.

Produce s and sign s final inspection reports that are deliverable as objective quality evidence to the customer.

Performs receiving inspection of components, mechanical and electrical systems, steel, and pipe.
