Job Description

O’Hanlon Paving is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Control Technician to work seasonally in a full-time capacity at our Acheson, AB plant. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Responsibilities:

  • On site sampling, coring, and testing of asphalt and gravel
  • Lab testing of asphalt and gravel
  • Organize testing schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials for testing 
  • Maintain and perform detailed records

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field (Civil Engineering Technology) is an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with asphalt testing is preferred
  • Prior experience with road building industry will be an asset
  • Must have proven ability to be self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision
