We are seeking a Quality Control Mechanical Engineer to support a Mechanical Contractor in Columbus. The role involves conducting quality control on construction and fabrication drawings within the fabrication shop.
Responsibilities
+ Review shop drawings to ensure mechanical systems, including plumbing and HVAC, are fabricated, built, and assembled correctly.
+ Inspect mechanical and plumbing systems in fabrication shops before they are shipped to client job sites.
+ Conduct audits of mechanical systems and provide guidance to the fabrication team on building HVAC or mechanical systems correctly.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in HVAC system and design.
+ Experience with sheet metal design and assembly.
+ Ability to conduct HVAC and mechanical inspections.
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems.
