Quality Control Engineer

About The Role

Balfour Beatty Power T&D is looking to recruit a Quality Control Engineer based at the Kirriemuir site.

The role will support the delivery of Balfour Beatty projects in line with customer and stakeholder requirements. You will carry out verification activities to demonstrate compliance with Balfour Beatty standards, external accreditations, and industry best practice.

You will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of procedures, including review and management of supply chain submissions, ensuring materials meet client requirements, and supporting a defect‑free outcome.

• Attend factory acceptance tests and conduct inspections at suppliers.
• Produce Manufacturing Assurance Plans to manage risk‑based intervention activities within the supply chain.
