Quality Control Engineer I

Job Summary

TheQuality Control Engineer is responsible for driving product and process quality excellence within Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing operations. This role ensures consistent achievement of yield and On-Time, In-Full (OTIF/OATF) targets through robust process control, defect reduction initiatives, and data-driven decision-making. The position actively leads root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities, implements continuous improvement programs, and collaborates cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and customer teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. The role is also instrumental in supporting new product introduction (NPI) and product transfers to mass production.
