Job Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Safety, Public Health , or related field
  • Certifications in Quality Assurance, GFSI, and Internal Auditing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the food industry role managing GFSI and regulatory standards (CFIA/USDA/FDA)
  • 5 years’ experience monitoring quality assurance and control programs
  • 1-3 years of supervision and leading technicians
  • Experience using Genesis, R&D, and SQL software for nutritional fact table development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage QA Technicians and daily Food Safety and Quality System activities
  • Implement and maintain HACCP, BRC, SOPs, policies, procedures, and control programs
  • Oversee incoming material inspections, records, reference samples, labeling, and approvals
  • Complete daily QA transactions in SAP
