Quality Assurance Manager

Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Adhere to and maintain the Walters Quality System.
• Audit the Quality System periodically and work proactively on maintaining and/or improving the system as well as quality deficiencies that arise.
• Plan quality control of steel to sequence and equipment requirements.
• Liaise with the various departments to ensure consistency of service and resolve problems as they arise.
• Review project specifications and drawings for new projects and develop ITPs to maintain project specifications.
• Manage NCRs, find root causes, develop preventative actions and enforce corrective actions.
• Be familiar with the design, development, and specifics of the processes, procedures and machinery to carry out welding work for constructional steel.
