Quality and Risk Consultant

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Management, the Quality and Risk Consultant will lead prevention and responses to resident safety incidents and support risk management and issue management.

This full‑time position serves as an expert on resident safety incidents and provides a supportive role in Compliance, Accreditation, and Emergency Preparedness activities.

This position will be based in Ontario. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide virtual and in‑person guidance and consultation with leaders across the organization.
• Monitor quality, critical incidents, resident safety incidents (RMM), resident deaths and enterprise risk management activities across the organization.
