Job Description

We are recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a specialist education setting in Peterlee. The role focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH needs and helping them access learning in a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support pupils with learning and emotional development.


  • Deliver targeted interventions under teacher guidance.


  • Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation.


  • Build positive relationships with pupils.


  • Support individual learning plans.


    • Skills & Experience


  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.


  • Experience working with pupils with additional needs.


  • Confident and calm approach.


  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
