The Position

The core objective of the Maintenance Officer Role is to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the school facility by providing a high level of facilities support in line with our Service Specifications. At the completion of training and induction, the Maintenance Role is capable of utilising a range of complex instructions, materials and equipment to deliver a range of cleaning, grounds, utility and school officer duties to facilitate school operations in a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasant condition.


The Person

  • Experience in a similar role - working in a General Maintenance/Facilities Maintenance type role

  • A great work ethic and ability to learn

  • Good communication skills with a flexible approach

  • Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card, undertake a Functional Medical with D&A

  • Hold a Current Drivers Licence
