QA Engineer – Manual Testing

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Execute manual test cases and document results.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar.
Participate in requirement review and design review meetings.
Validate data using SQL queries when required.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman (basic level).
Ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
Mentor junior QA team members and review their work.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Expertise in writing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Reports.
Experience in Web and/or Mobile application testing.
Knowledge of Defect Life Cycle.
