Overview
Job summary: Initiates and implements food quality analysis, safety, and control of Straight Specialty Fats and Oils products from material preparation to storage and distribution of finished products based on the quality plan.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and implement food quality analysis, safety, and control of Straight Specialty Fats and Oils products.
- Conduct testing of Fats and Oil samples for Fatty Acid Composition (Normalization and Wyeth Method).
- Conduct sensory tests, physicochemical analyses, and other evaluations required to release work-in-process materials and semi-finished bulk, accurately and on time.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment/instruments and test reagents are calibrated and have the correct concentration before use for accuracy of test results.
- Maintain neat and legibly written analysis records, following rules on correcting errors.
