Oracle SQL/PLSQL Developer (with Python) 35 Years

About the Role

We're seeking an engineer with deep expertise in Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and strong Python scripting/automation skills. You will design high-performance queries, procedures, and automations that support policy, billing, and reporting workflows. Insurance domain knowledge (Life) is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize Oracle SQL queries, views, materialized views, indexes, and PL/SQL packages/procedures/functions.
• Analyze execution plans, troubleshoot slow queries, and apply performance tuning (stats, partitions, hints where appropriate).
• Build and maintain Python scripts for data pipelines, Excel automation, and system integrations .
• Schedule and monitor via Oracle Scheduler/DBMS_SCHEDULER, Windows Task Scheduler.
• Partner with business users (Actuarial, Policy Service, Claims, Finance) to translate requirements ...
