Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate / track movement of parts through logistic pathways.
  • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule. Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
  • Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes.
  • Process payments such as broker’s billings, charges with bank, advances by broker, local insurance etc.
  • Prepares inputs on the weekly Import Logistics status report for shipments and updates accordingly
  • Responsible for processing of incoming shipping documents (order for brokerage, local insurance)
  • Maintain and ensure completeness of Import files
  • Checks computation of final taxes/duties on all shipments
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
