Purchasing Specialist

Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing all supply chain activities related to sourcing, purchasing, logistics, supplier management and documentation compliance according to QMS in the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing for new or alternative materials.
• Request sample from vendor and manage the sample evaluation process.
• Issue purchase order, tracking and expediting order placed.
• Review MRP requirement prior purchase order issuance.
• Review and update materials price in QAD systems.
• Liaise with production planner to ensure materials delivered prior to production run.
• Assist Supply Chain Executive to maintain, review, and update Approved Vendor List (AVL) as per QMS.
• Establish new supplier/vendor in Approved Vendor List (AVL) when required.
• Assist Supply Chain Executive to perform yearly AVL suppliers' renewal evaluation process as per QMS.
