The Purchasing / Procurement Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned categories, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, supplies, and services at optimal cost, quality, and delivery. This role is an individual contributor who applies expertise in procurement processes, supplier coordination, and cost control, without people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities from requisition review to purchase order issuance
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards
- Review and validate Purchase Requests (PR), quotations, and supporting documents
- Prepare, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders (PO) and delivery timelines
