Kelly Service's has partnered with a client in Brampton, ON to recruit for a DIRECT HIRE PERM Purchasing Manager for a company that provides world-leading design and manufacturing capabilities, in terms of innovation, product development, manufacturing, and defense project management in heavy armored and tracked vehicle suspension systems.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Procurement Management: Source, negotiate, and procure materials, components and services in accordance with project requirements, ensuring compliance to specification and defence regulations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships that ensure the reliability, quality and competitiveness of our supply base.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with suppliers to secure best possible agreements while mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to budget....
