QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related course / or with relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in RETAIL, GROCERY STORE OR SUPERMARKET
- Experience in supplier coordination and purchase order approval
- Knowledge of sourcing, supplier accreditation, and inventory management
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Good leadership and monitoring skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Good communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Approves Purchase Orders
- Monitors performance of in-store purchasers
- Coordinates with suppliers/agents
- Ensures proper sourcing of products and supplier accreditation
- Reviews supplier pricing, discounts, and contracts
- Addresses supply issues and maintains stable inventory flow
- Ensures compliance with purchasing policies
