QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related course / or with relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement in RETAIL, GROCERY STORE OR SUPERMARKET
  • Experience in supplier coordination and purchase order approval
  • Knowledge of sourcing, supplier accreditation, and inventory management
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Good leadership and monitoring skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Good communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Approves Purchase Orders
  • Monitors performance of in-store purchasers
  • Coordinates with suppliers/agents
  • Ensures proper sourcing of products and supplier accreditation
  • Reviews supplier pricing, discounts, and contracts
  • Addresses supply issues and maintains stable inventory flow
  • Ensures compliance with purchasing policies
