Job Description:-
· Handle of indirect materials, consumables, office supplies, spare parts, machinery and service to support daily operations.
· Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best cost, quality and lead time.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, ISO/IATF standards, and relevant customs/tax requirements (SST, MIDA, etc)
· Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier contracts in a timely manner.
· Maintain and update vendor database, price lists, and contract records.
· Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost competitiveness and service level.
· Work closely with internal departments (Production, Maintenance, HR, Admin, IT, Process etc) to fulfil purchasing needs.
· Participate in cost-saving initiatives and support continuous improvement projects.
