Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, parts, and services according to company requirements.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
  • Liaise with suppliers on pricing, quality, delivery, and documentation matters.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/production to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and support supplier development initiatives.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Prepare purchasing reports, cost comparison, and price analysis when required.
  • Support cost saving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of purchasing/buying experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
