Purchasing Engineer

Overview

Sweco is seeking a Purchasing Engineer to handle operational procurement for industrial and energy projects across Finland. The role involves preparing RFQs, evaluating offers, supporting negotiations, managing purchase orders, and logistics monitoring. Frequent travel to various project sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier offers.
• Support negotiations with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders and associated documentation.
• Monitor logistics and ensure timely deliveries to project sites.
• Coordinate with project teams and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering or technical degree.
• Proficiency in Finnish and English.
• Good system skills (e.g., MS Office, SAP, IFS).
