The primary responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant are offloading trailers. Each trailer has critical supplies we need to get in the plant for the next day’s plant operations, and assisting purchasing supervisors and manager with their duties.Responsibilities:Responsible for offloading and putting away Packaging, MRO parts inventory. Processing parts issue slips, and offload list paperwork. General housekeeping of Box Shop, shipping docks and elevator areas, material identification, packing slips relative documentation for receiving.
