Responsibilities
- Assist in procurement and purchasing processes across various departments.
- Maintain and update supplier database and pricing information.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Prepare purchase orders and process invoices for payment.
- Assist in inventory management and tracking stock levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry
- Good understanding of popular products in the industry
- Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Flexible to travel to meet with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers as required
