Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement and purchasing processes across various departments.
  • Maintain and update supplier database and pricing information.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Prepare purchase orders and process invoices for payment.
  • Assist in inventory management and tracking stock levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry
  • Good understanding of popular products in the industry
  • Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Flexible to travel to meet with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers as required
