About our Role

Join the Barminco team as a Pump Fitter and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with current opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you’ll play a key part in installing, maintaining, and repairing dewatering and service pumps underground, ensuring effective water management and safe, continuous mining operations.


What will your day to day look like?

  • Install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps – Challenge Mono, Flytgt Submersible, Centrifugal and various air operated pumps.

  • Monitor pump performance and respond to breakdowns and water management issues

  • Conduct routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance

  • Assemble and maintain pipework, valves, and associated fittings

  • Work safely in an underground environment in line with site procedures
