Job Description

The Town of Melita is seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious individual to join our Public Works team as a full-time permanent Public Works Labourer.

This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing excellent work-life balance.

Under the direction of the Public Works Foreman, the successful candidate will assist with the construction and maintenance of roads and sidewalks, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems, operation of public works equipment, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license;
