Join Nova Scotia’s mental health team as a part-time Psychologist for the Forensic Sexual Behaviour Program. This position focuses on assessment and treatment for those who've crossed legal sexual boundaries.
In this role, you will report to the Health Services Manager and work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead. You’ll engage in empirical assessments, lead specialized treatment groups, and contribute to program development initiatives. This position values professional independence and encourages innovative approaches to delivering psychological services across various sites in the province.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate group treatment sessions for clients
• Conduct forensic risk assessments and diagnostic interviews
• Develop and enhance psychological services and programs
• Supervise practicum students during their training
• Engage in case consultations and potential court testimonies
Requirements:
• Master's degree from an accredited program
