The primary purpose of this position is: To assist the Protocol Officer in the planning, managing, and executing of the command protocol program to include special events, ceremonies, conferences, briefings, official and social functions, and high-level foreign and domestic visits. Responsibilities Serves as project officer for special events, visits, tours, meetings, ceremonies, and other events conducted by the Command. Implements general officer administrative support, ceremonial and protocol policy and procedural guidance for the Commander, Vice Commander, Director of Staff, Command Chief Master Sergeant, and other applicable personnel concerning proper protocol requirements for visiting dignitaries, military ceremonies, conferences, official meetings, briefings, etc. Manages the distinguished visitors (DV) lodging program for HQ ACC and Langley AFB.
