JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the VP of BC Operations Attending or investigating claims on behalf of our principals to: assess damages, create scopes of repair, interview claimants and witnesses and create scene diagrams Reviewing policy wordings to determine coverage Communicating findings of investigations in a detailed report format Reviewing professional reports related to the claim; such as, engineering, accounting, legal or building consultant Authorizing or denying coverage based on findings and instructions received from our principals Negotiating settlements with insureds and/or claimants based on instructions received from our principals Ensuring that claims are proc...
