Property Accountant - Independent Contractor

A growing Chicago-based real estate investment and property management company is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in both property management accounting and construction accounting . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of a portfolio of residential properties while assisting with accounting for renovation and capital improvement projects.

This position works closely with property managers, project managers, and company leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely completion of accounting functions.
