Proofreading Consultant

We’re looking for a candidate to join us as a Proofreading consultant on a 1-year contract. While the role is contractual, this will be a full-time, in-person role. Someone who has at least 4 years’ relevant copy editing and proofreading experience. Someone with a niche in working with a publishing house as an editor, and relevant experience working on web content would be preferred. 

While this is a consultant role, the candidate would be required to work from the IndiGo office with the team for the duration of the role. 

The candidate will be responsible for: 

-       Proofreading and quality checking website and app content

-       Proofing all SEO articles and blog articles for IndiGo, on a daily basis 

-       Doing a daily quality check on the web, app and SEO content

-       Providing a monthly analysis on website and app hygiene, in terms of quality and factuality, from a brand lens.
